I work with individual adults and adolescents.
I am currently offering both video (telehealth) and in-person sessions.
I am currently offering both video (telehealth) and in-person sessions.
Fees and Insurance

My fee is $170 for a session (rate is the same for in-person and video sessions). I am not currently an in-network provider with any insurance. However, many clients are able to use their insurance's out-of-network benefits to be reimbursed for part of the the session fee. I provide all required paperwork to clients for this reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to ask about the reimbursement rate for out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy sessions "CPT Code 90834 and CPT Code 90837."
You have a right to receive an estimate of costs you can expect if we work together (a "Good Faith Estimate"). For more detailed information about your rights under the law, open the file below.

Clients and Areas of Speciality
Below are some of the issues I am experienced in treating.
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety
Women often say, "well, this is isn't postpartum depression, I'm just stressed out." Using that label is not important; but getting help to feel better is. It occurs much more than we think: 1 in 5 women will experience postpartum depression and/or anxiety. I have a special interest in helping women navigate challenges following childbirth, including: adjusting to the role change of motherhood, coping with fears about the baby, and managing added stress. |
Infertility
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Too often, women don't receive the help they need following the terrible loss of a child. Similarly, women who find themselves unable to conceive desire recognition of their grieving. I provide women the space to tell their stories, and to discover new tools and insights for healing. |
Trauma | Healing Old Wounds
I am experienced in working with issues including: Sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, physical assault and emotional abuse. I served as a Senior Therapist at the Alexandria City Sexual Assault Center. My approach to working with trauma is to move slowly, only at my client's pace, and to work toward relief of symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, or feeling anxious or watchful. |

Depression and Anxiety
I work with adults, children, and adolescents who experience depression and anxiety. I help clients gain control of their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors through a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic approaches. |
Relationship struggles
We all need help navigating family issues, romantic relationships, and friendships. Though I do not see couples together, I am experienced in working with individuals on figuring out whether to end a relationship, or how to improve it. I often help clients with issues regarding their family of origin (growing up, coping with the past). I have worked specifically with adoption, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. |
Adolescents and Parenting Support
I currently work with adolescents age 13 and up. You may be concerned about your child's moods, behaviors, or want help with parenting approaches. I work with adolescents and families coping with: behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, self-harm, and other issues. I do not currently work with children; however I do offer parenting support to parents whose children are working with another therapist. |
